Tom Higgins

Editor

A degree in fine art left Tom’s career path extremely open and, after graduating, he returned to his native Newcastle to figure out which creative road to take. Here, he taught himself to use Adobe software whilst working on event promos for friends and began to realise that editing was something he wanted to pursue professionally. He packed his bags, moved to London and found work at Absolute as a Runner.

During this time, Tom shadowed the edit department and began assisting on projects. His first was a huge mix of VFX and green screen footage for The Macallan, which proved his skillset and saw him promoted to Editor. Since then, he’s cut projects for clients including Disney, Maserati and Ralph Lauren’s Wimbledon collection, which was shown at London’s iconic Piccadilly Lights and remains a particular highlight professionally.

Tom loves creative problem solving and is an advocate for sharing opinions and ideas – including film and TV recommendations, which he describes as a bonus of client-attended sessions!
