Philip is a highly distinguished colourist with a sharp eye for detail, creative flair, a fervent love of photographic imagery and the technical prowess to match! A true chameleon of colour, armed with an exceptional skill set from years honing his craft alongside industry icons at the world leading and highly respected MPC and The Mill. Philip is now offering his clients an enviable array of possibilities at his new home at Absolute Post in London’s Fitzrovia.

Philip has lent his touch to the works of some of the industry’s most celebrated Directors (including Floria Sigismondi, Francois Rousselet, Mathijs Van Heijningen, Paul W. S. Anderson, Los Perez, Mark Jenkinson, Miles Aldridge and The Sacred Egg) as well as Cinematographers (including Darius Khondji, Fabian Wagner, Andrij Parekh, Molly Manning-Walker and Monika Lenczewska).

Assembling a stunning body of work, for global brands that include Nike, Glenmorangie, Martini, Samsung, BMW, Lexus, Meta and Google. Philip’s work has regularly been recognised for its excellence, with multiple Best Colour Nominations across all the major awards.

In 2019, Philip collected a Silver Arrow for his work on Billy Boyd-Cape’s Pride ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ and a highly sought-after D&AD Wooden Pencil in 2021 for his Stunning grade on Mile’s Aldridges’ Glenmorangie ‘It’s Kind of Delicious & Wonderful’ film.

In 2024, Philip received a second Silver Arrow and D&AD for his work on Burger King’s ‘Whopper’ spot, directed by The Sacred Egg for BBH London. In the same year Philip picked up silver at the Kinsale Shark awards for his work on Rich Halls ‘Crawford V Madrimov’ Riyad Season film, along with a shortlist at the highly coveted Filmlight Colour Awards for the same project. His second consecutive nomination for these notoriously tricky awards.

His first foray into the world of long form, with longstanding collaborator Tom Day, became the 6th watched film in the UK on Netflix for their feature documentary ‘The Battle Of The Baddest’.

As a testament to Philip’s accomplishments and expertise, he was selected as a Film Craft Juror at the 2020/2021 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.
